ups and downs and lots of those misty in-between times when i've no idea whether i'm close to the sky or the earth.
rusti leaves again today.
i lost my 4.0 to sociology 103, of all things. last semester, senior year, and i dropped the ball. ouch.
i went on a date tuesday. a date. ice cream and talking and wandering. i don't believe i've ever gone on a date with someone i hadn't already known for at least a few weeks. refreshing.
maleah and i ventured to asheville yesterday in search of the perfect stationary and a graduation dress. instead, we found the delight that is asheville and spent most of our time either mocking the dresses at goodwill ("piano recital, fourth grade." "seventh grade dance. the one where your date's braces caught on your own." "second grade teacher - no, wait. first grade. mrs maloney.") or perusing the book section. then, the ride home at dusk, singing along to john mayer and jason mraz.
one exam left today. i've not yet studied, but first i'm driving rusti to tennessee to drop him off.
stephe moves out today.
my family comes up tomorrow. and i'm holding a little graduation shindig tomorrow night.
and then, saturday, the end of an era.
i will miss these mountains.
